The colour is intense, almost opaque, with tones of red, hints of garnet and thick tears. Very fruity. Aromas of ripe fruit, grape and fig. A touch of vanilla and a fine hint of aniseed. A full-bodied and structured wine, with the bouquet giving signs of a passage in oak. Fresh and velvety. The tannins are soft, smooth and mature. Aromas of plum and blackberries culminating in a finish of chocolate.
